Private and Group Sessions


Illness and trauma can make us sick! Pain, fear and anxiety - for ourselves or a loved one - can compress our breathing, our body, and the space surrounding us. In private sessions at the Studio, at the home, and in our small group classes, Valerie leads movement meditations and activities to improve our relationship to our healing body and the spaces we live in.

These activities, based on integrated movement principles of Spacial Dynamics, postural integration, active imagery and functional fitness, provide each client with a personalized program for home practice between and after sessions or classes.

Specific programs such as The Lebed Method - Focus on Healing Through Movement and Dance offer specific therapeutic movements for breast cancer recovery and reduction of lymphedema.

Our unique and effective Fall Prevention program helps aging or frail adults gain security and strength for daily living.
