REGISTER FOR OUR REMAINING THREE WORKSHOPS for only $95!

Over a course of the 2010 - 2011 school year, we will meet monthly for nine activity workshops and seminars on many aspects of the young child's development and learning through movement:  play, song, gymnastics, sports, games, dance, home activities, nature and the movement of the parent and educator.  All workshops are 10:00 - 11:30 (except for the 5/7 May Festival workshop which takes place at 11:30.)

Parents will learn how and why certain activities affect your child's development leading you to understand how to make the most healthy choices based on real life as well as ideal principles.  Teachers will learn activities and principles that can apply to your own work with your students and their parents.  We all will have a lot of fun.

Space is extremely limited in this course which is co-hosted by Neighborhood PlayGarden, and will take place at the Grand View Studio's Rainbow Room, 59 Grand View Avenue, San Francisco, 94114.

SUGGESTED READING: The Well Balanced Child: movement and early learning, by Sally Goddard Blythe, available online at Rudolf Steiner College Bookstore and the usual places.

Neighborhood PlayGarden's outdoor space will be available for families to meet and play after the workshops from 11:30 - 12:15, under your own supervision.  We will close the PlayGarden at 12:15.
